Thousands (K) Protecting (P) Millions (M) — KPM Analytics, comprised of the operating companies Chopin Technologies, Process Sensors Corporation (PSC) and Unity Scientific, announces the completion of several initiatives in North America. These investments strongly position the operating companies for growth, enabling them to better serve global customers in food quality & safety, environmental and agriculture.
It’s been just over a year since the inception of KPM Analytics with the initial acquisition of Unity Scientific, with PSC joining shortly after. With a goal of expanding both operating companies’ ability to solve customer problems, a significant facility upgrade has been completed. The existing PSC facility in Milford, MA was expanded and completely renovated. Unity Scientific’s manufacturing and research facility was moved and is now co-located with PSC in Milford MA. This action will support even greater customer support as both PSC and Unity Scientific focus on helping customers with instrumentation challenges around the world.
The leadership team has also been expanded to include Brian Davies, President of Unity and PSC. Brian’s most recent role was General Manager of Anderson Power Products, a multi-national company whose customers are many electronics industry leaders including Cisco Systems, Hewlett Packard and Nokia.
After graduating from Rensselear Polytechnic Institute with a BS in Chemical Engineering, Brian started his career as a marketing application engineer specifying capital equipment in the petrochemical industry. Brian moved into the electronics industry where his career in sales and marketing steadily advanced with Tyco Electronics, Texas Instruments, Beau Interconnect and Molex.
Brian resides in Cambridge MA with his wife Patricia and their daughter Christine.
“We are thrilled to have Brian on board as General Manager of Unity and PSC.” states Chris McIntire, Chief Executive Officer of KPM Analytics. “As an executive, business leader, and strategist, Brian brings proven expertise in creating value with a keen understanding of operations, revenue generation, product positioning and a focus on customers.”
“With Brian now part of the leadership team and the Milford facility upgrade and expansion complete, we look towards 2017 as an opportunity to continue the momentum in providing our customers with unmatched expertise and support.”
“It is critical that our customers continue to benefit from our technical team’s deep experience and industry expertise. This very specific application knowledge we bring to our customers every day, is the foundation across all KPM companies.”
