MILFORD, MA (May 15, 2019) — KPM Analytics announced today that it has acquired Sensortech Systems, Inc., a corporation with deep application expertise and proven near infrared resonance (NIR) and radio frequency (RF) technology. Used by global customers for real-time moisture measurement in process control across a variety of industries.
This is KPM’s sixth acquisition since its inception in late 2015.
Headquartered in Oxnard, CA USA, Sensortech joins KPM as a leader in providing real-time moisture measurement and solutions that improve efficiency and automates quality control. Backed by over 35 years of technology innovation and industry expertise, Sensortech further expands KPM’s core NIR technology portfolio while adding RF to KPM’s technology mix.
“Sensortech is a natural extension to KPM’s Operating Companies; AMS Alliance, Unity Scientific, CHOPIN Technologies, Sightline Process Control and particularly Process Sensors Corporation” says Chris McIntire, CEO of KPM Analytics. “Together, we are building market share with an unmatched group of NIR experts to better serve customers around the globe. The combination of all six strong, well-regarded brands, positions KPM Analytics as a key provider of NIR instrumentation and solutions for online moisture measurement.”
“Joining KPM Analytics is a great opportunity for Sensortech.” says CEO Colin Hanson. “Bringing effective and innovative solutions to our clients is and will remain our focus as we realize the new opportunities that come along with being part of KPM.” Hanson will continue as CEO after the acquisition as will the entire Sensortech management team.
“Not only are we excited to add RF capabilities, we are thrilled to have Colin and his team part of KPM and look forward to continued innovation, growth and success.” says McIntire. “As we work to uncover the best ways to grow both PSC and Sensortech, both businesses will continue to work with and support their existing sales channels, distribution networks and their global customers as they have done successfully for decades.”
