The SiftAI® Foreign Material Detection system is a powerful machine vision platform that offers superior vision inspection, leveraging artificial intelligence to train models for any product requiring inspection.
Setting up the SiftAI® Foreign Material Detection System is simple for manufacturers. First, product is distributed under theSiftAI® to record images of acceptable products. These images are sent to the KPM Analytics team of vision experts who then train the system to decipher acceptable product versus foreign objects, creating an AI model. Once trained, the AI model is delivered to the SiftAI to use on the production line.
SVW AI systems are trusted by customers worldwide for identifying defects in free-flowing materials. These materials can be presented under the camera in diverse ways, such as on shaker tables and on high-speed belts, which help spread out the material for efficient and accurate inspection.

Software
Operator Interface
The Human Machine Interface (HMI) is located at the line. Operators can watch a real-time stream of the product and review any detected foreign materials when they happen at the inspection point.

Review the foreign material detected and apply the appropriate label directly at the Operator Interface at-line.
Here you can see a glove that was detected by the system and flagged as foreign material. Once it was flagged, it was rejected from the product stream.

Analytics

Access to the system settings is restricted to authorized users.
Health Check Report
This consolidated management report lets you know about the foreign materials detected on each line, in each plant for a selected time frame.
